Hi guys, we’re Rosie and Aimee, the founders of The Northern Edit.

 

We’re two Northern girls with a background in PR and a shared love for storytelling, creativity and discovering the very best our region has to offer. Throughout our careers, we’ve worked with some of the biggest brands in the world across hospitality, travel, fashion and culture, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the industries we’re most passionate about.

 

After years of working in communications, and constantly being asked for recommendations on where to go, what to wear and what’s worth trying, we decided to create a space where we could bring it all together.

 

The Northern Edit is our place to celebrate everything we love about the North; from hidden food spots and weekend travel ideas to fashion finds, beauty favourites and the independent brands that make this part of the UK so special. Whether it’s a cosy countryside staycation, a new restaurant opening, the best boutiques for a shopping day or our latest beauty obsessions, we’re here to share the edits we genuinely love.

 

We’re both dog mums who are completely obsessed with our little fur babies, and you’ll usually find us exploring new places with them in tow. Most of our free time is spent travelling around the North and beyond, discovering cool cafés, planning our next trip, hunting down great fashion finds or simply enjoying everything this amazing region has to offer.

 

Through The Northern Edit, we want to create a go-to guide for chic Northern living, a place for inspiration, recommendations and a celebration of Northern style, culture and creativity.
