Leeds Wellbeing Week 2026 Returns This June with a City-Wide Programme of Events

Leeds Wellbeing Week is returning this summer, bringing a full week of wellbeing-focused events to the city from 1st - 7th June 2026.

Now in its seventh year, the week has become a regular fixture in the Leeds calendar, bringing together businesses, residents and communities for a programme that spans everything from fitness and mindfulness to talks and workshops focused on mental health and wellbeing.

This year marks a new chapter, with Leeds-based organisation HelloHope leading the initiative for the first time. Known for its work in mental health and suicide prevention, the Community Interest Company is taking the week forward, building on its foundations while opening it up to an even wider audience across the city.

Across the week, venues throughout Leeds will host a mix of events designed to be accessible and varied. Expect yoga sessions, sound baths and meditation alongside more practical workshops and discussions covering topics such as burnout, neurodiversity and workplace wellbeing.

The idea is simple - to give people the chance to explore different approaches to wellbeing and find what works for them, whether that’s something physical, mental or somewhere in between.

This year’s programme is supported by headline sponsor EGYM Hussle, a fitness platform offering flexible, no-contract access to gyms, pools and spas across the UK. Alongside the wider schedule, Hussle and its partners will host a series of events during the week, including a flagship session for HR and people leaders on Tuesday 2nd June at Department, Leeds Dock.

A number of local organisations are also involved, including Leeds City Council’s Active Leeds, the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University, as well as Touchstone, Step Into Sophrology and Hypnotherapy Lounge Leeds. Sage Ayurvedic will lead the weekend offering, hosting a retreat on Saturday 6th June followed by a wellbeing festival on Sunday 7th June.

Events will take place across a range of venues in the city, including the Royal Armouries, Department, The Attic and New Craven Hall, with more locations expected to take part as the programme develops.

At its core, Leeds Wellbeing Week is about showcasing what the city already offers, while making wellbeing more visible and accessible. It’s a chance to step out of routine, try something new and spend time focusing on both physical and mental health in a way that feels manageable.

With a mix of open events, talks and experiences running across the week, it’s one to have on your radar this June.
