Made Leeds Opens on Lower Briggate - New Matcha and Açai Bar

Leeds has a new opening, and it didn’t take long for people to notice.

Made, the matcha and açai bar that’s already built a following in Sheffield, opened its doors on Lower Briggate today - and from the moment it opened, there were queues out the door.

We headed down on opening day to check it out, and it’s exactly the kind of place Leeds has been waiting for. On our way through town, we already spotted Made matchas all over the place!

The concept is simple. Matcha in all forms, alongside açai bowls, smoothies and lighter food options that make it an easy stop whether you’re grabbing something quickly or staying a while.

Matcha is very much the focus, with iced matcha lattes, fruit-led options like strawberry and banana, and canned versions for something on the go. We tried two different matchas, one fresh and one canned, along with a loaded açai bowl. The drinks were fresh, the açai bowl was piled with toppings, and it all felt well put together.

There’s more on the menu too, with smoothies, breakfast-style options and healthy grab-and-go bits. It's the perfect place to spend a lunch break or to pop by mid-shopping.

The interiors are also big part of it. Fun and aesthetic, the kind of space you’d happily spend time in, whether that’s a quick stop or something slower.

It’s already drawing a crowd, and it’s easy to see why. Check it out!
