Step Into a Woodland Wonderland This Easter at White Rose Leeds

If you’re looking for something easy, creative and genuinely lovely to do with little ones this Easter, White Rose Shopping Centre is bringing a touch of woodland magic to Leeds.

From Tuesday 7th to Sunday 12th April, the centre will transform its Central Atrium into a nature-inspired crafting space, inviting families to slow down and get creative during the school holidays. Running daily from 10am to 4pm, the free drop-in sessions are designed to let imaginations run wild, with activities including decorating woodland masks and creating treasure chests to take home.

It’s the kind of low-pressure, all-weather plan that feels both thoughtful and easy - somewhere children can make, play and explore without needing a full day’s itinerary.

Adding to the experience is a 2.5 metre tall bear statue, in place from 7th to 19th April, bringing an extra sense of fun to the space. Visitors are encouraged to stop, take a photo and enter for the chance to win a £100 White Rose gift card, making it one of those small moments that turns into something a bit more memorable.

Beyond the Easter activities, White Rose lends itself well to a full day out. Whether it’s a trip to Cineworld, a game at King Pins or something a little more immersive at The Escapologist, there’s plenty to build around the crafting sessions.
