Viral Korean Street Food Brand Bunsik Is Opening at Trafford Centre with Free Corndogs and 50% Off Deals

If your TikTok feed has ever convinced you that you need to try a Korean corndog immediately, this one’s for you.

Bunsik, the Korean street food brand behind the viral corndog craze, is officially opening its second Greater Manchester location at Trafford Centre on 20th May - and they’re launching with their biggest free giveaway yet.

The new site will open inside The Orient food court, bringing Bunsik’s molten cheese pulls, crispy corndogs and Korean street food menu to one of the busiest shopping destinations in the UK. And judging by the queues that usually follow the brand, Trafford Centre is likely about to get very busy.

To celebrate the opening, the first 100 customers each day from Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd May will get a free corndog from 11am, alongside a full week of 50% off deals across different menu items.

That means:

  • 50% off cupbap on Wednesday

  • 50% off corndogs on Thursday and Friday

  • 50% off tteokbokki on Saturday

  • 50% off fried chicken on Sunday

For anyone unfamiliar, Bunsik has become one of the biggest Korean street food brands in the UK since launching in London in 2021, building a huge following online thanks to its highly visual menu and customisable corndogs.

The corndogs themselves come filled with mozzarella, sausage or chicken, with optional sugar coatings and different sauces, alongside other Korean street food favourites including fried chicken, spicy tteokbokki, kimbap and rice bowls.

The menu is halal-friendly, with vegetarian options available too.

Following the success of its Piccadilly Gardens restaurant, this latest opening feels like a natural move for the brand - especially with Trafford Centre continuing to expand its food offering inside The Orient.

And with free corndogs, TikTok-famous food and 50% off deals all week, it’s probably one to expect queues for.
