Introducing The Northern Edit

Hi, we’re Rosie and Aimee, the founders of The Northern Edit.

We created The Northern Edit as a space to celebrate everything we love about life in the North. From standout restaurants and beautiful places to stay, to fashion finds, beauty favourites and the independent brands shaping the region, this is where we’ll be sharing the things we genuinely think are worth knowing about.

With backgrounds in PR and communications, we’ve spent our careers working with brands across hospitality, travel, fashion and culture. Along the way, we’ve had the opportunity to see these industries from the inside, discovering incredible places, meeting inspiring people and constantly uncovering new experiences across the North.

Over time, we found ourselves always being asked the same questions: where should we go for dinner this weekend? Which hotel is worth booking? Where can we find great independent shops? What beauty products are actually worth trying?

Of course, there are some great platforms that highlight what’s happening across the North; but what we felt was missing was a space that brings together a more carefully curated edit of the most stylish, exciting and genuinely chic things happening in the region; the places, brands and experiences that really stand out.

That’s what led us to start The Northern Edit.

At its heart, The Northern Edit is your guide to a chic Northern life - a place where we share the restaurants worth booking, the destinations worth travelling for, the fashion finds we love and the beauty favourites we can’t stop recommending.

You can expect destination guides, curated recommendations, seasonal edits and features highlighting both established names and exciting new discoveries across the region. Our aim is to cut through the noise and bring together the very best of what the North has to offer, all in one place.
