Nigel Haworth is bringing some of Britain’s best chefs to Lancashire for Fusion 3
One of Lancashire’s best-known chefs is bringing some serious culinary talent to the Ribble Valley this October.
Nigel Haworth has announced the return of Fusion 3, a week-long series of special dinners at The Three Fishes in Mitton, with Kirk Haworth, Sabrina Gidda, Tom Parker and Ping Coombes all joining the line-up.
Taking place from 13th-18th October 2026, the event will see a different chef take over the kitchen each evening, bringing their own cooking style, influences and culinary heritage to The Three Fishes.
It follows the success of Nigel’s previous Fusion events and, this time around, the week will also be supporting Action Against Hunger.
The Fusion 3 line-up
Things kick off on Tuesday 13th October with Nigel’s son Kirk Haworth, chef and co-founder of Plates London. Kirk made history when Plates became the UK’s first fully plant-based restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star, with his cooking combining classical technique with a seriously creative approach to plant-based food.
On Wednesday 14th October, it’s Nigel himself taking over the menu. One of Lancashire’s biggest culinary champions, his cooking has long been centred around the produce of the region, so expect an ingredient-led menu celebrating the best of the season.
Sabrina Gidda takes over on Thursday 15th October. The chef, author and two-time Roux Scholarship finalist, who you might also recognise from Great British Menu, draws on her Punjabi heritage and years spent in some of the UK’s leading kitchens to create bold, contemporary dishes.
Friday keeps things firmly rooted in Lancashire, as Tom Parker of The White Swan at Fence joins Nigel on 16th October. Lancashire-born Tom started his career at Northcote and has since developed a style of cooking closely connected to the county, its producers and the changing seasons.
Then, on Saturday 17th October, Ping Coombes brings the flavours of Malaysia to Mitton. Born and raised in Ipoh, Ping won MasterChef in 2014 before returning to become the show’s first Champion of Champions in 2022. Her cooking takes inspiration from her Malaysian heritage and the food she grew up eating.
One final night
Fusion 3 comes to a more relaxed close on Sunday 18th October with Jazz at The Three Fishes, combining dinner with live music for the final evening of the week.
“Fusion is all about bringing chefs together, sharing ideas and seeing what happens when different culinary influences meet,” says Nigel. “Every chef has their own story, style and approach to food, and I can’t wait to welcome them into my kitchen at The Three Fishes.”
Set in the Ribble Valley village of Mitton, The Three Fishes has become one of Lancashire’s best-known dining destinations, with its own organic farm gardens and a menu built around local, seasonal produce.
